Parker – Class of 2017
Parker is a senior at Evangel Christian School and is planning to attend Auburn University. His grandfather once owned the fabulous Jeep (orange, of course!). He and the Jeep look really good together, don’t you think?
We spent a little time in the town of Montevallo before going on campus. Montevallo is so quaint and has many different interesting backgrounds for environmental portraiture. I simply love the shadows on the wall in the image where Parker is sitting on the steps! The painted wall with handrail is on a side street. The painted wall is in an alley next to an old barber shop and provided good light and acted as a reflector. The bottom image was made in an alley that has been painted to look like a street scene. Nothing like photographing in a town that is the home of a liberal arts college!
Montevallo was founded on October 12, 1896! The brick paved streets, architecture, and sculptures make the campus a desirable location for photography!
