Senior Models in Greensboro, AL
On Sunday, October 6, we travelled 90 minutes southwest to one of the most unique cities in Alabama for a Bohemian fashion shoot with our 2017 Senior Models. We had lunch at The Pie Lab (which is an outstanding little cafe in the town’s heart), took a few photos of the models wearing their Gretchen B tee shirts (yay!), and then headed to the Johnston-Torbert Bed and Breakfast to change clothes.
This brick wall, located on one of the side streets, is a favorite location because it provides such a great texture and shade.
After changing into the outfits provided by Oh My Sole, we took a few images with a fresh flower crown provided by Bloom and Petal. Our goal was to get a Bohemian feel from the clothes and the hair decorations.
The girls added different flower decorations from Gypset Beauty Co. to give a little variety to their outfits. And here we are on another side street where this old staircase created the perfect place for group photos. I love the way the models look against the white brick and old wood! We also took a variety of photographs of them under the stairwell, framed by the uprights.
This alley is a dream for photographers! There are so many interesting textures and a surprising one – this tree root has broken through between a brick and a stucco wall! I was surprised to see how much more tree trunk I could see since my last visit. Unfortunately one of our models had to work Sunday afternoon and missed out on the last hour of our session. Just didn’t want you to think I had lost her somewhere along the way!
We ended our day with photos at the back of the town’s daycare. Can you imagine a more interesting gate for kids?
If you are interested in an on location senior session outside of the Birmingham area, please let me know. I love Greensboro and would enjoy creating images for you, too! Enjoy our slideshow with some behind the scenes video included!
