Rosewood Hall Wedding

Teleah and Neshmond (“Nesh”) were married on a perfect spring day on 051515 at Rosewood Hall in Homewood. Teleah’s make-up was simple and perfect. Her matron of honor, Kelsi Purifoy, is also a professional make-up artist. Teleah was absolutely radiant just before her father met her in the bride’s room.

Blushing Bride

The first look is always one of my most favorite times of the wedding day. It’s so fun to watch the expressions on both the bride and the groom when they see one another for the first time in their wedding clothes. It’s also the romantic part of the day, I think. They took a moment to just be together before we got the wedding party involved in photos.

A Stolen Moment

Rosewood Hall offers many different places for photography! It was a hot day so we took advantage of the beautiful light inside the building for some fun wedding party photos.

Wedding Party

Teleah and Nesh’s colors were red and blue. Her florist, Chris Burson, did a lovely job with all the flower arrangements. Don’t you love the simplicity of a rose bouquet? The bridesmaids had fun “flirting” with Nesh, and the groomsmen made some really funny remarks to Teleah – no, I shall not divulge any of those! :)

The plaza area in front of Rosewood Hall with its pool and fountain made a romantic scene for Teleah and Nesh who couldn’t help but play around a little.

Cooling It!

We had just gone to a nearby bar where Teleah and Nesh know everyone who works there. They were surprised and happy to see them. I made this image as we were going back to Rosewood Hall. The clouds were building and made a dramatic backdrop for their walk across the plaza.

After a full day, the wedding reception ends with Teleah and Nesh’s being cheered on by family and friends while they enjoy their “exit” kiss.

The Exit Kiss

It was a perfect wedding with music by Teleah’s uncle and DJ, Freddye Young. The gray tuxedos (I think my favorite color tux!) are provided by Mens Warehouse.

Today we received this thank you note from Teleah (we sent them a metal Christmas ornament featuring an image from their wedding), and her note made my heart sing. One of the things that most of us want, I believe, is to be able to touch others’ lives in a positive way. It is such a joy to be able to capture the images that will remind Teleah and Nesh just how much they love one another and of the commitment they made on 051515.
