Rustic Wedding in Helena (Birmingham area) Alabama
Joe and Jackie were married 25-years ago to the day when they re-married after many years apart. They shared some of the details of their separate lives and how they became reunited, but I won’t give away those details here. Suffice it to say that if things are meant to be, they will be.
Jackie is a faux painter artist and has quite an imagination. She created her amazing ceremony site and reception in the side yard of the log cabin home and the reception in the barn that Joe has built. No detail was left undone! During the ceremony, the bride, groom, and her two (now, their two) sons released balloons in honor of Jackie’s deceased mother. The rain that came at almost exactly the hour they were to be married didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. The wedding was delayed less than an hour so the ceremony could still take place under the arch built by Joe and decorated by Jackie and her friends. The barn featured Chris Amerson of Amerson Events and delicious food by D’Armond Catering.
